The company is a well-established private professional security company based in the Southwest of England, who specialise in delivering a high standard of service to meet client’s needs and expectations. The company wished to increase its credentials and compliance through the implementation of a formal management system.

The company identified the need to implement a formal Quality Management System (QMS) with an appropriate scope to satisfy the proposed implementation of the SIA business licensing requirements, the QMS had to cover the services provided by the company to demonstrate control and continual improvements.

External support was required to document the processes and establish procedures for the mandatory clauses of the ISO9001:2008 standard. The company’s objectives included certification of the system, maintenance of customer satisfaction and ultimately retention of clients and improved business performance; whilst gaining a competitive edge through certification and compliance to future requirements.

Solutions-IMS supported the company by providing bespoke and down-to-earth advice and assistance in documenting the processes involved in delivering the services whilst meeting the requirements of the ISO9001 standard and the relevant BS standards in the areas of static and mobile guarding, key holding, events management and CCTV monitoring.

Regular meetings were scheduled to review and discuss the established procedures and quality records were generated through monitoring of customer satisfaction, non-conformances, training and service delivery. A programme was agreed to manage the steps on the road to certification.
